The Mindy Project
Hulu

After messing up with yet another beau, Mindy ponders whether there’s a way to get Ben (Bryan Greenberg) back. It’s not the cheeriest of Valentine’s Day plots, but it should work for those who love the show.

NCIS/NCIS: New Orleans
CBS, 8 & 10 ET/PT

Well, here’s one way to get NCIS fans to visit the hit’s lower-rated sibling: Start a story on NCIS that concludes on New Orleans. On NCIS, someone steals a theoretical terror playbook and heads off to New Orleans to sell it —causing McGee and Torres to travel to New Orleans and team with Pride to find it. Just remember, the two shows don’t air back to back. You have to skip over Bull to get to New Orleans. And all things being equal, skipping is the wisest choice.

American Experience: Ruby Ridge/Independent Lens: Tower
PBS, 9 ET/PT (times may vary)

PBS takes two powerful looks at homegrown terror. The first film, directed by Barak Goodman, centers on the deadly standoff at Ruby Ridge, Idaho, and examines the influence it had in the creation of the militia movement and the radical right. The second uses archival films and animation to tell the story of the 1966 University of Texas tower sniper, considered the first in our now seemingly endless string of mass school shootings.
